For Amy

Amy left a comment about my clean oven, which had me snorting. Of course it always looks like that--- and I have a house in Tuscany, too! The oven is only two years old, and our house in on the market, so I did the self-cleaning thing, which stunk up the whole house, so I'm glad that it wasn't being shown anytime that week. However, I learned this dandy little oven cleaning trick for all of you moms out there.

Do you have a glass top stove? You know that special cleaner for your glass top that takes off all the grime. When your oven is cool, open the door and pour that cleaner on the inside of the glass door and scrub with a no-scratch sponge, just like you would the stovetop. It takes off all the little specks of grime and leaves it looking brand new. I was positively giddy over this trick. The self-cleaning cycle doesn't seem to clean the door.

Thanks for stopping by, Amy. Aren't you glad I wrote that Dear John letter? I'm glad you both don't hate me. :)
