More on soaping to come....
Today feels like the beginning of summer-- no, not because it is the first of June, but because I finally got the package from Lands End that had all of the kids new swim stuff in it. Can we just say, "Happy Campers!" I love it that their stuff always fits, while I am forever returning. As I type they are out running through the sprinklers in new trunks and tankinis and new water shoes. (Josie doesn't know that her swimming suit is a hand-me-down, and it's so dang cute, I don't think she would care.) And, this summer I actually bought myself a new swimming suit, too. Mine was looking ragged.
After much debate, I finally broke down and bought this cutie from Lime Ricki.
But, I didn't want my fanny hangin' out, so I bought the boy shorts instead of the little bottoms.
It came last week, and I really like it. I'm looking forward to wearing it next weekend at the Big Twig pool with the kiddos.

Very cute suit!!
ReplyDeleteI love that swim suit. I looked at that line earlier but I'm really not in the market for a new one this summer. I'll have to check out Lands end for my kids.
ReplyDeletethank you!!! thank you! the swim suit is cute!!
ReplyDeleteYou have just opened up a whole new world to me with that swimsuit link. I just discovered the Lands End extended sizes area, not to mention their outlet. For some reason, now that I swim at the YMCA at least once a week, my swimsuits disintegrate after 3 or 4 months. I watch the outlet and in the past 2 months I have gotten some suits for $25, originally $98!!
ReplyDeleteYour suit is super-cute and I hope you consider it a compliment if I shamelessly copy you.
PS - I LOVE that you refer to me as Vic. I have tried to explain to my friends here that I embrace that nickname, but there have been no takers as of yet.
i bet you look {hot} in your new suit!
